he says square, she says round.

When talking to married friends, the main theme in their marriage advice to me was this: learn how to compromise. I heard this a lot even before I was engaged, and I nodded my head and filed it away, thinking I was good at compromising and I would deal with that advice later. This was until Tim and I decided to start our registry. Everything went smoothly until we saw the dishware. It quickly became apparent we had different views about what makes a dish beautiful. He has a love for square dishware and I have a love for round. So far, this seems like a very minimal first compromise, but I think it is good practice for us. Who will be the one to compromise? Stay tuned for more.
